2026 Rosalío Sáenz Reunion — Things to Know

The Sáenz Reunion Planning Committee is pleased that you are able to join us for the 2026 Rosalío Sáenz Reunion here in Austin, Texas! We have high hopes that you will enjoy this year’s reunion. We have planned some twists on some of the traditional reunion activities as well as added some new ones. Our hope is that all will happily reconnect with our Sáenz family and make this a memorable reunion.

Reunion Check-In

When you check in, make sure you have all items needed for reunion including:

Swag Bag
T-shirt(s) if you ordered
Lanyard with name badge (1 for each person in your party)
Puzzle piece...behind name badge in lanyard
Meal tickets (for lunch and for one or both breakfast(s)-if you elected to breakfast with us, i.e., 1 ticket for lunch, 1 for Sat breakfast and 1 for Sunday breakfast...behind name badge in lanyard).
Tickets are yellow-double tickets,
- fill out meal ticket portion,
- drop in collection container at serving station,
- keep portion that says ‘Keep this coupon’ for raffle after each meal.
Sáenz Bingo boards (1 for each person in your party)

Two groups have been booked. A max of 4 with minimum of 3 people in a group.

Deadline to add or drop player is June 23, 2026.

Meals

By using the hotel conference rooms, we were obliged to use their caterers. We have checked and rechecked meal order numbers as each meal ticket will only allow 1 meal serving.

Provided meals:

Friday Night Social: Pizza (no charge)
Saturday Lunch: Fajitas and sides
Saturday Night Business Meeting (none)*
Saturday and Sunday breakfasts (if you opted for them)

*For the Saturday Night Business Meeting, no food will be provided. Please eat before the meeting. A map of nearby restaurant options is provided on the back of the Things to Know printed version of this page (available at Check-in Table). Personal food will not be allowed at the Saturday Night meeting venue, per hotel catering rules.

Soda Beverages

Throughout the reunion events, the hotel will provide water stations. We have also opted for an All Day Beverage Service, which will provide various soda selections. We have not included this cost in the reunion event ticket, so if you want to have a soda, cost will be $2.00/piece.

Alcohol

The reunion planning committee opted not to provide alcohol for the following reasons:

Costly
Need to provide and pay for bartender
Need to provide and pay for Security

However, attendees may purchase drinks at the on-site bar located near reunion event rooms. Bar-purchased alcohol will be allowed in reunion event rooms. Personal alcohol will not. Attendees are welcomed to have and consume personal alcohol only in their hotel rooms.
